CareFirst Blue Preferred PPO
This is a managed health plan that encourages the use of a network of health care providers who have agreed to charge discounted rates to plan members. Individuals select doctors of their choice within the network. PPOs also allow participants to receive health care services from non-network providers at a higher out-of-pocket cost.
CareFirst Blue Preferred PPO HDHP with Health Savings Account (HSA)
This PPO plan is defined as a High Deductible Health Plan and is compatible with a tax-advantaged savings account that allows you to put aside pre-tax income, invest your savings, and use your tax-free savings for eligible medical expenses. Unlike other medical savings accounts, any money you do not use stays in your account and is entirely portable. If you use the account to pay for eligible medical expenses Cambridge will contribute $25 or $50 to your HSA each pay period depending on the coverage you elect. Employees may contribute additional funds up to the IRS maximum.
CareFirst Blue Choice Health Maintenance Organization (HMO)
(This plan is only available to employees who reside or work in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area) With the HMO your primary care physician provides preventative care and provides specialty care using a large network of specialists within the referral system. Services received outside the HMO network are not covered unless deemed an unforeseen medical emergency.
CIGNA Global Health
This is an international medical and dental benefits program which is offered to best serve and protect our employees working abroad. We offer this plan to our OCONUS employees who are assigned work duties of up to 12 months, and no less than 182 days per year (intermittently). Our Expatriate employees and their dependents will be covered by the CIGNA medical and dental plans. As a CIGNA member, you will have access to a network of more than 150,000 international providers. Additionally, you are free to receive care from out-of-network providers at the same benefit levels as in-network. Your dependents remaining in the U.S. also have access to Cigna HealthCare’s PPO network of more than 550,000 providers. You also have access to these U.S. providers when you return home on visits or between assignments. For the dental part of the plan, members can use any dentist they choose, no matter where the family member is located. There is no in- or out-of-network.
United Concordia Dental
United Concordia (PPO) Preferred Provider Organization
Dental plan participants can receive benefits for dental services from either a participating PDP dentist or an out-of-network dentist.
Davis Vision with United Concordia
This is a discount program offered by United Concordia group plan. Employees who elected dental coverage are automatically enrolled in this vision discount program that offers discounts on eye exams, lenses, frames, and additional eyewear options.
Lincoln Financial Group Disability and Life Insurance
Lincoln Financial Short Term Disability Insurance includes 60% income replacement up to maximum weekly benefit of $1,200 and the premium is 100% company paid. Lincoln Financial Long Term Disability Insurance includes 60% income replacement up a maximum monthly benefit of $8,000 and the premium is 100% company paid. Group Life Insurance includes a Life and Accidental Death & Disability benefit of $50,000 and the premium is 100% company paid. Employees may also purchase additional life insurance coverage for themselves, their spouse and dependent children.
Cambridge offers a 401(K) retirement plan with a "safe harbor" matching contribution that is always 100% vested.
Paid Time Off and Additional Benefits
